About this listen

Devereau Webb is in uncharted territory. He thought he knew what he was doing when he chose to enter London's supernatural society, but he's quickly discovering that his new status isn't welcome to everyone.

He's lived through hard times before, and he's no stranger to the murky underworld of city life. But when he comes across a young werewolf girl who's not only been illegally turned but who has also committed two brutal murders, he will discover just how difficult life can be for supernaturals - and also how far his own predatory powers extend.

Well truly amazing story and spinoff from helen harper. the novel is well interlinked with the Emma Bellamy story line. Fantastic well done can't wait for the next one.

Brilliant

I really enjoyed this book. Unique in its initial start, no long drawn out chapters, funny in places and a different angle on Supes. did also think the narration was quite in general, Thought thus was a good listen.

different and good Storyline

Good story and narration. Easy to see it being start of a series where expansion on some of the more minor characters could happen.

Enjoyable adventure

From the outset, cheeky British humour, excellent narration, well read, well plotted and a breath of fresh air to have a male point of view read by an actual male in the appropriate accent.

Loved it

As always the basic story line from HH is made interesting with a ‘will they, won’t they’ love interest. Titivated with the occasional facts about wolf/supernatural ideology.
HH is the master of cliffhanger, making you want to listen to the next book.
As easy listen, to allow the listen to leave the realm of reality for short sound bits.

Gripping
