there was nothing to dislike about this story. I was transported into the lives ofnthe nurses. It was as though I was in the lives of the characters. I loved it that much I've read.itntwice more. the author Pam Howes, is an exception to.the rule. excellent description of characters. overall, I highly recommend anything from this author.

A lovely 3rd story which kept me gripped. I couldn't wait to listen every chance I got. I was looking forward to listening to the next part of Cathy's life in The Midwives of Lark Lane but have been put off by the reviews and the change of narrator. I will have to buy the book which is a shame.

nice storyline from start to finish it wasn't as predictable as the first two books in this series. The narrator was ok at using different voices for the characters.
