I’m sat in bed at 7am after coming to the end of this book. I have tears in my eyes for the emotions this story has brought to me. Not only tears but laughter too.
I have absolutely loved listening to this book. The characters, the places, storyline and the narration have all exceeded my expectations.
The main character is 60 and as an older lady myself it was easy to identify with her. Her self doubts etc and wonderful to hear her find herself and plan a new life.
Absolutely loved it. Never heard of the author but when I have done this Review I will be looking for other books by her.
If you want an easy listen that makes you smile, laugh and also pulls at the heart strings. Give it a go.

Excellent story. Funny in parts. The voices were all very believable. Good bit of escapism. I enjoyed it.

I loved it, it made me smile, laugh out loud and cry. In the darkness of my bedroom it transported me to the sunshine of Rhodes and the companionship of new friends.
Now the narration, it was sheer perfection. Everyone had a different voice and she gave such warmth to them, she was a joy to listen to. I hope to find myself listening to more of her narrations. ❤️
