Summary

THEY FOUND EACH OTHER. NOW THEY MUST RESCUE WHAT THEY LEFT BEHIND. The highly-anticipated sequel to the queer genre-bending dystopian romance All That's Left in the World.

Against the backdrop of a ravaged world, Andrew and Jamie have settled in a new community, more in love than ever. Finally they've reached safety and have each taken on roles and responsibilities in this new life. But it's soon clear they want different things:

Jamie is ready to move on and take to the road, just the two of them.

Andrew wants to remain in the safety of numbers.

With a storm brewing up the coast they have no choice to head back into the wilderness where old enemies roam and they don't know who to trust. Can they find their way back to safety and each other?©2024 Erik J. Brown

This book is truly touching and so well written. The introduction of new characters is done so well, and built so quickly and effortlessly that I began to care for them as much as those from the first installment.

The story is well thought out, building on themes of love, acceptance, grief and trust in a mature but engaging and familiar way.

I can't recommend this book enough, even after finishing it these characters have stayed with me

Fabulous continuation to the first story

Wasn’t expecting a sequel but it delivered. Minus one star for the slightly unsatisfying ending

A great sequel

i loved this, had so much fun reading it and got so sad when it ended. But i think as a sequel its not the best. The first book was so much more exciting and kept you on your toes. I think the plot for the second one was kind of just grasping at straws. But the new characters, each having personal characteristics and their own story. It was gorgeous to listen to

wow!

Loved the characters, narration and neat transition from 1st to 2nd book. The relationship between Andrew and The Kid was so incredibly heart warming, it choked me up, especially at the end. Wonderful series that I will definitely come back to.

Loved it!
