An ok listen but not a showstopper. I liked the division between the different characters enjoyable, but I was expecting something more. I didn’t find Nora believable in much that she did.

I loved this book, I listen to a lot of audio books and it can sometimes be hit and miss but every now and then you find a gem and The other wife is most definitely a gem, so give it a go you wont be disappointed.

Absolutely fabulous! Love Clare McGowan 's books! Twisty, psychology domestic noir at it's best. Love the narration by Karen Cass. One of those listens where you want to grab every spare moment to see what happens next! The book really does make you wonder what goes on in relationships behind closed doors,and what secrets lurk beneath. One might ask ' but is the storyline just that little bit far fetched for average people! ' But who really knows! ' Unfortunately domestic bliss does have severe consequences, for all concerned. Very real to believe here. Especially if there is abundant money available to hide the abuse. This is meant with regards to the way this particular book is written and with no disrespect to the couples and families that still suffer under poorer circumstances. No woman or man or other should have to experience any type of abuse ! I think The Other Wife also shows compassion can be available along with help from the least expected people in your life. Always reach out before it could be too late! Not everybody has a storyline ending. Definitely read this book. Well worth a credit, just don't be quick to criticise the women caught up in the saga, for not everyone is strong enough to escape from these type of relationships as quick as one may think !

Fascinating and held my attention, always wanting to hear what happened next sadly I lost the plot, literally, just before the end as I got the characters mixed up but think this was my fault
