Cooper Lee is at a crossroads. Unwilling to let an innocent man and friend be railroaded into prison, the Bible group decides to investigate on their own. As Cooper and this humorously diverse group of people - including a blind folk artist, a meteorologist with a taste for younger women, and a soft-spoken web designer who might be out to catch Cooper's eye - dig deeper into the clues, they're about to discover that finding the truth sometimes takes a leap of faith.

I am happy with the Bible study group background although some readers could be put off if they were not expecting it. It should be obvious from the title I guess. The plot moved along well, the characters were interesting and I look forward to seeing how the lives of the group members develop over the series. There was no gratuitous violence and a gentle romance, suitable for a Church based story.

I don't know how this appeared in my audio library. I guess I was doing some late night browsing and found it. I imagine it sounded interesting and was included with Audible. And interesting it was. I remember wondering what I was listening to. I was hooked right from the beginning. The narrator had an easy listening voice and read the characters well; it was clear who was speaking. The setting was unusual. The main character was unusual. The plot was understandable. It was fast paced and dramatic, but also kind and gentle. I loved it.
