The previous review put me off purchasing this, but I had seen the book and decided to give it a go.



I was glad I did - I found the information very easy to understand and useful: it has helped me to see where I am going right in my two businesses as well as spot where I am going wrong. It is thought provoking and has helped me think about things - for this reason it has been a worthwhile purchase.



The author does mention his website - but not too often and I did not find it particularly self-promoting or distracting. It is certainly far better than many of the charlatans that write books to promote the author's own websites, seminars and tapes.



This book has substance and is enjoyable to listen to.

Good overall snapshot of a 3 years Business degree in 13 hrs. Listen to this before shelling out £30k on an MBA!

overall it's a great book but it is really let down by the editor of the audio with it being very noticable that many lines get repeated. when recording voice overs many will record a few takes to give the editor the flexibility to pick the best reading... that's great unless your editor is useless and keeps both lines in. it's a small thing but it really detracts from the listening experience and from the quality.

this book gives you a good breadth of business knowledge that serves as a good jumping off point to more detailed literature.

Really useful book. But also excellent sections in self improvement / self management - those sections would make a really useful guide for anyone not just business people! I will be buying a hard copy for a second read and note making! (But this is not necessary as it is for some books - the text doesn't constantly refer to diagrams like some books do!!)

This is an excellent audio book. It explains many of the core business principles at a very high level. I would highly recommend reading this book. You will definitely learn something new no matter what level you are at (beginner up to CEO). It's always important to go over the basics. Obviously, this book does not provide the same deep level of learning that can be achieved over the course of a real MBA year. However, in terms of value for money, and time spent, this book certainly delivers some great results.
