About this listen

The news is full of hotly debated divergent claims about the impacts and risks of climate change. Lawrence Krauss, one of the world's most respected physicists and science populizers, cuts through the confusion by succinctly presenting the underlying science of climate change. The audiobook provides a unique, clear, accurate and easily accessible perspective of climate science and the risks of global inaction. The narrative, which movingly opens and closes on a Mekong Delta riverboat, lyrically explores the history of how scientists progressed to our current understanding of the Earth's climate and its future.

The Physics of Climate Change is required listening for anyone interested in understanding humanity's role in the future of our planet.

An informative, clear, and physics-focused explanation of climate science, I just wish the figures referred to throughout were available in an accompanying pdf.

A great presentation of the facts on a clear and understandable manner. however the book contains a large number of figures charts and images none of which are described in the audiobook nor is there a PDF with these available in Audible sadly

I was really excited about this book however feel less ke it's lacking in this format. I'm interested enough that I will probably by the kindle version just to see the diagrams the author constantly refers to. however I don't think I'd recommend the audio version to future customers. A shame as the audio seems pretty good despite this

To put it simply I had to abandon the audiobook and buy the paper back. Lawrence Krauss after the first 2 chapters is always referring to diagrams which are found in the hard copy only. there are no PDFs

One of those books you wish more people would engage with. Perhaps initially a bit caught up in the basic science of it but the later chapters really bring home the facts of the situation we’re all in. Going to listen to the author’s podcast now.

Good accessible science
