Funny enough, setting the speed of audio to 1.1x completely solves it and makes it very easy to listen to. While on a normal speed I felt like the other reviews, I did try to listen for 5 min and hated the voice and intonation, and could not focus. Speed of 1.1x solves it.

Apart from that, a beautiful book, with very engaging story, and a deep meaning. Highly recommend

Recommended if you like reading about esoteric orders or the Santiago.

The performance is excruciating and hammed up. I'm sure bored american Housewives would enjoy it but is cringy and often takes away from the story.
