About this listen

After the fall of Ringwall, Pentamuria lies in ruins.

The magic of the elements is fading away and the realm of fire begins a merciless conquest. In this situation, it is up to Nill, the last Archmage and possible Changer, to sort out the mess and stop Sergor-Don.

But the king of the fire realm is not the only threat.

A new, incredibly powerful magician who calls himself the "Pillar of Light", along with his followers, demands dominion over Pentamuria and forces Nill to decide whether to fight not only for his own life but for the fate of the whole world.

I sometimes lost track of the characters, but put that down to not having a written version to refer to. I think 'sagas' should come with pdf file.

Narration was excellent

The story is deep and smart . Lots off storyline in different directions . Look out for next season

Story overall

I’ve preserved with this story in the hope that it would finally make sense and the promise in the skeleton of a story would be realised. Maybe it’s a translation thing. There are moments when the series has substance - enough to make you keep trying to get to the end but it’s so sketchy and all over the place that I have now decided to give up. The characters are one dimensional, you want to like them particularly the lead but can’t because they’re so poorly written.

Derrick Perkins is great as always.
