What a wonderful book! Having not managed to find the time to sit and read it, despite enjoying the beautiful illustrations , I was delighted to find that there was an audio version. Katy’s reading and interpretation is flawless and entertaining AND you get to hear her actually sing The Song which describes the Place of Endless Lights .The writing is poetic and atmospheric, but also pacy and full of humour with engaging characters, each with a distinctive voice. There’s a real depth to the book too .I am sure it will appeal to children, but It’s a great read and food for thought, even for over 60s like me !
