With Nevermore done and dusted, it’s back to Earth where the fight for the Milky Way Galaxy is about to begin...

But first, a fun trip to the moon with Jake’s best-buddy space worm, Sandy. After that little adventure, it’s time for the final preparations before the long-awaited Prima Guardian arrives, signaling the start of the battle for the Milky Way Galaxy.

A battle that turns out to be a large ordeal, with every inhabited planet in the galaxy involved and free to either ally with one another or face the System Event alone. This in itself isn’t a problem... but Ell’Hakan leading the largest coalition of planets certainly will be.

Between Ell’Hakan and his many allies, the Holy Church, and selfish minor factions that have no idea what they’re doing, the battle ahead won’t be easy.

In tandem with the conflict between Jake and Ell’Hakan escalating, so does the battle between the Malefic Viper and Yip of Yore draw ever closer, with Jake naturally finding himself dragged into this conflict and directly involved in the plans of the Malefic Viper.

All in all, it’s a messy situation that surely can’t get any worse... right?

Now finally caught up and need to wait months for new releases, this is the only sad part of the series thus far…

Can’t get enough

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

I started the series as a time filler as they are long books. Now I am hooked and listened to all 13 books, I can't get enough and now I've finished what do I do?! Great narration and fast passe story. Looking forward to the next book. please hurry.

Another great book

I think this book is a little different to previous ones, although the change did start before now. It has just set in a bit more in this one. I enjoyed a lot of moments from this book and honestly really enjoyed hearing more about the multiverse and the prima event, also some fun insights into a few characters. I do however, miss the cornerstone of the series in Jake being ridiculous and felt some fights were described with less flair than they have been before more a tick list of skill type usages until an inevitable end.

I am looking forward to the hopefully insane overcoming of odds and bending of what should be possible that occurs when Jake overcomes the issues presented in this book! Perhaps when he sees the first sage come level 300. Favourite scene this book was the return of DOOM FOOT, should have committed to him doing it fully kick only!!! Even if it meant taking a beating!

A bit of a shift

more greatness

The series is great and I am a committed fan of the series. This story however was quite lacking and a bit dull. It felt like a filler book, side story even.

Love the series, but….
