Insightful and informative. I very much enjoyed this book. I would recommend it as an entry level guide for anyone considering a career in a private equity portfolio company.

I found this book to be useful and interesting. It gave a good overview of how things work and what is important. It also gave examples from the author’s real life experiences.
It is quite a short book though, and would have been more useful if it had gone into a bit more depth.

For me as a newbie it’s a good basic foundation. I feel like it many areas could have been expanded on. It’s a good book though and I’ve made some notes with teachings that I would never have thought of on my own, which I’m sure will prove useful in the future as I grow my business to make it more attractive and ways to increase the valuation easily.
