About this listen

The 12 riveting novels of the original Left Behind series and the first two prequels, The Rising and The Regime, have all conquered the New York Times best-seller list. Authors Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins are now among the greatest successes in the history of publishing. They continue their captivating story with this third prequel, which leads directly to the events of Left Behind, the novel that started the phenomenon.

In the moments leading up to the Rapture, nobody knows it is coming as the clock silently ticks down. Choices are made. The stage is set as Nicolae Carpathia ruthlessly eliminates any obstacles in his rise to power. In the twinkling of an eye, loved ones disappear without a good-bye. Heaven rejoices as millions are welcomed into the unspeakable presence of God. The darkest days may lie ahead for those who have been left behind.

This prequel trilogy should have been just one book. This final one is especially lazy and repetitive. The ending is literally the beginning of the first book with some padded Heaven stuff in the middle!

Did we really need to know what Raymond and Buck did before the first book since the main series already told all this stuff?! Why not just stick with Nicolae and Mrs. Steele as the POV characters? At least that would have been new information.

This is just lazy and pointless
