**Complete series**

These aren’t the kind of people you find looking through the want ads: Otto the wand-carrying wizard, Zac the giant werewolf, and Anastasia a five foot, hundred pound menace to society. They don’t know each other, but they must come together to save humanity because there’s an ancient secret buried in the Earth’s past and it’s about to bite the planet in the butt.

What if all Earth’s religions were based on a single lie told so long ago that no one remembers it? The false gods, powerful beings able to draw magical energy through the power of the planet, were trapped in a demon realm more than 4000 years ago. But the curse that sent them there is weakening.

They are coming back, forcing their way into our realm... our mortal realm. They know with unshakable certainty that nothing on Earth can stand against them…

…but there are things they don’t know. They left a little magic behind and humanity had better hope it's enough.

Join an ensemble cast as heroes rise, whether they want to or not.

Listen to Untethered Magic, and ten more action-packed stories now for a fraction of the cost of buying them individually but be prepared to have sore ribs from laughing too hard!

The Realm of False Gods features multiple protagonists, their stories overlapping and intertwining as the planet rushes toward a cataclysm no one can see coming.

Brilliant idea engaging ! think I’d of preferred the male narrator all the way through the series though

Excellent series

Not wild about the ending but it kept up pace and I didn’t get bored at any point - excellent vale for credit.

Definitely worth the credit

I read these books a few years back and recommended them to friends as the idea, plot and story is excellent and I've followed on with many of Steve Higgs books.

However, I was very underwhelmed by the narration and production of this audiobook - I'm not a fan of either narrator and in my opinion Gill especially isn't suited to these books - it doesn't compel the listener when it's read like a teacher or newscaster, in a style like it's being read with attitude (doesn't work). On top of this the production is poor - multiple sentence and paragraph repeats and towards the end a whole chapter is repeated. There is also a loud "whaaaaaaaa" halfway through a sentence, presumably someone's idea of a joke.
My advice - do read the books as they are great but give this audio book a miss.

Loved reading the books, audio spoilt by narration

I enjoyed being the twist and turns… thought I had suspicions about the main culprit. The end was a bit too Dallas for me, but it was a very Wishmaster so I forgive it as I like the idea of that kind of solution.

Excellent twists and turns..

No substance whatsoever apart from finding demons everywhere, who seem to be here fir no particular reason, and fighting them.

Boring
