I am loving this series and I like the characters that are in it only some of the books are missing in the audio series

in all my years I have never read a thriller set on a paddle steamer, so this was an unusual, and educational listen. The way our protagonist works her way round the clues, leaves you in suspense until the very end. A highly recommended listen that is very well written and brilliantly narrated.

I’ve really enjoyed most of the Jenny Starling books …..started with later ones and worked back ! This however was not up to the usual standard . The characters were very interesting, but the plot was a tad unbelievable. Somehow it felt disjointed . First one of the series that failed for me .

An ideal book to take for a relaxing holiday. despite it being a crime novel, the story is peaceful, supported by the calm voice of the narrator.
