Get ready to fall in love with this royally charming rom com — featuring a full cast and an immersive audio soundscape!
Maggie Patel has landed her dream job at The New York Spectator; or, it would be, if she could get a decent story assignment. When a career-making interview finally lands on her desk, it’s with the last person she’d ever want to see again — Edward, the Crown Prince of Bairmorne...and her long-ago friend.
When Maggie was a child, her mother worked as a housemaid at the Royal Palace of Bairmorne, a small European nation, until they were unceremoniously kicked to the curb...amidst a cloud of whispered controversy and palace intrigue. Now, Prince Edward and Maggie are all grown up and they both have jobs to do — but there’s a spark between them they can’t deny. Will that spark lead to something more, and can their attraction withstand public scrutiny, royal duty, and secrets from the past?

This is not exception, very sweet and romantic... Sure a bit predictable at times but did have one major plot twist that took me by surprise (in a good way)
Very good voices even if the majority sounded more British than from s

This audiobook was definitely more of a radio play than a book which I adored as an ex-Actor and lovey. There were loads of cast members which provided a range of voices and it was really easy to distinguish which character was which. And the book was also made up of a lot of short scenes with musical intros.
I really really enjoyed listening to this one and as someone who isn't a massive fan of the monarchy, I'm surprised at just how much I loved this. The story was great and I definitely laughed out loud more than once. I adored some of the characters too.
Exactly like a radio play
