Im a big fan of Christine's books but found this hard to get into at the beginning and nearly gave up at one point. I found the heroine Nicoletta difficult to take in.... as if she was afraid of everything, but i prefer the women in the books I read to have a stronger personality. Saying all that I loved the twists in the book and of course it was well written.
