In the shadowed halls of an elite 1920s university, she has always lived quietly—cataloging forbidden texts, tending dusty archives, pretending not to feel the world pulsing just beyond the edge of ordinary sight. But the night she opens a forgotten book sealed beneath centuries of dust, something ancient wakes…and four impossibly irresistible men step out of the dark.

They are not students.
Not professors.
Not even mortal.
Each embodies a different kind of temptation: the brooding keeper of secrets who speaks inside her mind, the wild and wicked one who circles her like prey, the fierce protector whose touch burns through her clothes, and the melancholic dreamer who steals her breath with a single look.

And they want her.
All of her.
Not as a plaything—but as the key to their survival.

Drawn into clandestine midnight rituals, whispered vows, and heat that blurs the line between worship and possession, she finds herself claimed, marked, and undone by four gods who refuse to let her walk away.

But desire in a place like this is never safe.

And once she steps into their world of forbidden power, there is no returning to the life she left behind.

Not when all four of them have decided she belongs to them.

I was hooked from the opening chapter. The gothic university setting creates the perfect atmosphere, and the narration really brings the mystery and tension to life. The chemistry between the main character and the four immortal men is intense without overshadowing the story itself, and each character has a distinct personality that kept me invested. It strikes a great balance between fantasy, romance, and suspense, with enough twists to keep me listening far later than I intended. If you enjoy dark academia, paranormal romance, and slow-burning supernatural intrigue, this audiobook is well worth your time. I can't wait for the next one.

Dark, addictive, and impossible to stop listening
