Katarina Jones’ sensible exterior and strong practical streak often masks her real feelings.

Ben Carruthers is terrified to ask Kat out, but when he buys a piece of land, and enlists Kat’s help with his vision, it gives him the opportunity to spend some time with her.

When Ben has a load of landscaping stones delivered, Kat seemingly has a sixth sense about some of the stones. Will danger draw them together or pull them apart especially when Kat has trouble acknowledging that she has a sixth sense?

Their group of friends from Chestnut Hall join Kat and Ben in the search to solve the mystery of the stones.

Book 6 and hopefully the last in this series. I say that both because I’m burned out on listening to them as well as because the ending did a nice enough job of wrapping things up. It’s another lazy as hell copy-paste from the other books, but at least they were in danger for once.

This is another open where the mystery isn’t all that interesting and takes a back seat to the romance. Though there are other elements at work to keep the reader invested. Magic stones, a strange cult, a kidnapped woman. I like that the characters from all the past books keep reappearing and their stories get fleshed out. It feels like these people are all meant to be together as a chosen family, something I’ve always loved in stories.

The narrator was excellent. I have nothing else to say about her performance.

A lovely story, sadly Sarah Lynn's performance is a bit stilted and rushed, and sounds like she is reading a grocery list. The characters are adorable, but they need a better voice.

Nice story

Hero is Ben. Heroine is Kat

Ben found some odd looking stones that he wants to show Kat. Only thing is ever time he moves them somewhere, they sort of disappear . After a while even Kat notices they have a mystery. They decide to take the stones to an expert to give some explanation.
