About this listen

Perhaps falling in love was not a momentous initial attraction, but a growing realization that one’s life was simply happier, better, when in the company of a certain gentleman.

After Mr Fitzwilliam Darcy departs Hertfordshire unexpectedly just before Mr Bingley’s ball at Netherfield Park, there is no further impediment to prevent Jane Bennet’s romance with her handsome neighbour. Unfortunately, Mr Darcy returns to Netherfield on the Bingleys’ wedding day, just in time to launch disaster into the proceedings. Elizabeth Bennet’s attempt to put the wedding-wrecker in his place only worsens matters when her private conversation with Mr Darcy becomes a misunderstood marriage proposal. Mr Darcy is willing to put everything right—for a shocking price.

Can Elizabeth bear even a temporary alliance with this incomprehensible, possibly roguish, but certainly ardent Mr Darcy?

Can Mr Darcy convince the intriguing and charming Elizabeth Bennet to overlook his sins long enough to become his bride, or must he banish her from his dreams forever?

The Seven Sins of Fitzwilliam Darcy is a lighthearted, humorous retelling of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, perfect for fans of regency romance!

First, Stevie Zimmerman is yet again outstanding in her narration of this adaptation of Pride & Prejudice.
For me, her performance conjures up the true essence of every character. I can sit back and with confidence enjoy Elizabeth and Darcys love story.
The clever adaptation, again is smoothly and expertly done. Every character brought to life in a new and creative way. Yet the feeling of Jane Austen runs like s golden thread throughout.
Thanks to the author and narrator for the loveliest feeling , and happy sigh when it came to a perfect end.

The best adaptation of Pride & Prejudice

Well written, original storyline and some very humorous moments, even a few LOL’s.
I love Darcy and Lizzy in this variation and as always Stevie Zimmerman is excellent.

A Little Gem❣️

Modern slang, a flippant Darcy, a drunken Mr Bennett and Mrs Bennett's vulgarity extending to sexual innuendoes. I didn't enjoy it.

Silly

A very cheeky Darcy and enjoyable story. Great narration and some real funny dialogue. Love the injection of feminist values taught to the Bennet girls and the addition of Lady L.

Cheeky Darcy

I have listened to lots of P&P variations but this is one of my top 10 favourites. It's funny, lifely romantic. Just a great story. I'll not give any spoilers but if you are like me and enjoy many variations and one with humour too you will enjoy this. Narration fabulously done. I actually listened to it 3 times straight after each other. would recommend in so many levels.

BRILLIANT! LOL moments.
