Summary

My first foray into DART and it was fantastic. Great story and very suspenseful. The voice acting was excellent and bought the story to life.

You need adequate concentration for listening to this audiobook. Thus listening to the audiobook while commuting on bus is far better compared to while working, driving by yourself or walking.

This, The Colour out of Space and The Rats in the Walls are what defines Lovecraftian horror to me! Terrifying secrets that shouldn't be unearthed, forces beyond human logic and understanding, and the glassy, weak human mind shattered leaving them mere husks driven by manic instincts.

I've spent the last 2 weeks listening to Society's radio drama adaptations and consider me a fan now, I love what they've made with the source material; the acting and atmosphere is stellar and emotions and lines are passionately delivered! The Shadows over Innsmouth is currently my top favorite!
