This romance was beautifully written and full of emotion. It walked the difficult line of having a character who really was quite unlikeable at the beginning because of his actions in the past, but managed to genuinely and successfully redeem him. This was writing with real skill.

Fantastic narration, conveyed all the emotion and all the characters' voices were distinct without being forced.

And wonderful to have a book with middle aged characters with all their aches and pains and the maturity to talk through their problems.
