As much as I hope the dynamic duo comes back one day, I really enjoyed the resolution of the remaining mysteries. Fast paced and brilliantly narrated, time passed too quickly.

As a side note... there are a few words which get overused and I wish the author could have found a greater variety of expressions. Cackling, gasping, growling are just a few of these words :)

I am very sad to have no further Frey & McGray to look forward to. I’m not sure this was the best of the series but the dramatic ending brought things to a satisfying conclusion. Such a wonderful author - thank you Oscar - just while we’re here; what’s with the regular reference through the series to ‘neck snapping round as if…’? Feels almost comedy frequency. Anyway, if you’ve got this far in the series not getting this book isn’t an option. ENJOY.

This audio book is one of the best in the series. Great author and one of the best and entertaining narrators I have listened too.

Gutted this series has ended, but it is a satisfactory winding up. Would love to know what happens to the characters next - the ending seemed open enough that we might hear from them again.
As ever, great narration.
