Refreshingly original. I don't want to say to much so as not to give the plot away.
The author very cleverly leads the reader down a path expecting a revelation. However nothing is as it seems.

Well I never saw that coming.

I really enjoyed the book. Gripping until the end. Unfortunately, the audiobook was let down by the performance. When the reader read the parts in Italics, they spoke too quietly. I was constantly turning the volume up and down, couldn’t listen to in the car either. One minute it was too quiet, the next too loud. Such a shame.

Great story, hard to hear.
