About this listen

Amidst darkness and sin, two unlikely souls find themselves twisted into a forbidden affair that could cost them everything.

Thea, a stunning beauty with a troubled past, was ripped from an orphanage by the Hildegard Sisterhood for her wicked ways. Trained as a seductive assassin, she's given a purpose as a Sinner: to bring balance to a world designed by men. She never expected the arrival of an arrogant scholar from the all-male Team Saint to bring her to her knees.

Wesley is a relentless demon hunter for the most mysterious entity in the world—the Vatican. His mission is simple: destroy evil wherever it may hide. But when sassy and smart Thea ruffles his feathers, he can't resist falling into temptation. She's the one he's been searching for his entire life, but she belongs to the Sisterhood, an organization he's sworn to destroy.

Thea and Wesley's worlds collide when they discover a lost prophecy has the key to saving a loved one in each of their lives—but it will only work for one.

"Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned… I killed a man."

The Sinner Sisterhood is a dark, steamy paranormal romance series featuring five bad girls fated to save the world… but only if they first make peace with their dark sides. If you enjoy stories like Buffy, Constantine, The DaVinci Code, and Supernatural… but want more soul-shattering romance, found family shenanigans, unapologetic heroines, and the men who would sacrifice the world to love them, then this is for you.

Intended for mature listeners.

Loved the book. Good storyline, storytelling and even the fact that it kept us hanging with what’s to come in the next book.
Without spoiling anything I really hope that I’ll have a good insight in Zeke’s and Hellcat’s past and future.
We need a happy ending overall!

Undeniable attraction!

I have to admit to not expecting much when it started, but I actually found it very thought provoking, which is what good art is supposed to do. Being non religious, I found the sub text of religious control and human behaviour very interesting. I couldn’t give mire than 3 stars as the story was just a little basic, and there were silly errors, like a gas boiler running with no power (spoiler - they require electricity to power them). The narration however bright it to life. My one complaint about the female narrator was the terrible English accent, I wish Americans would just read in their own accent and leave for our imagination, rather than trash it completely, but the male narrator completely captured my attention. I saw another review which complained about his terrible Scouse accent, but I thought he did a brilliant job of a posh Liverpool accent. The author described him as covering a Liverpool accent, but she could still tell it was there. So spot on Will M Watt

This book surprised me

The story started off strong but then all of a sudden changed too quickly for it to be ‘believable’ in a timeline sense which was a shame.
The male narrator was meant to be Liverpudlian but the accent was terrible and he kept dropping all together at time which became very frustrating to listen too.
Unfortunately I don’t think I will be continuing with the series and honestly, I’d probably tell people to give this one a miss too. Just my opinion and if others really rated it that’s great for them and I’m glad it is being enjoyed.

It was ok

An interesting enough story, heavily driven by religious extremism. If you're looking for something fun and fluffy then this definitely isn't for you! The narration is very much hit and miss. The male narrator gives Wesley a passable liverpudlian accent but the female narrator has him vary from generalised American to an English accent befitting a resident of Buckingham Palace! I see that the story continues with another couple as lead characters but I am afraid I won't be tempted to carry on with the series.

Interesting enough
