Summary

This is how the world ends: with a single snowflake.

After a tragic accident at work, all Grady Miller wanted was an escape. He finds it months later with two of his closest friends. Together, the three of them travel south to Prism Lake for the upcoming holiday, where they plan on spending the sunny weekend drinking, grilling, and relaxing.

But when a series of monstrous blizzards cover the Eastern United States in feet of snow, knocking out communications and making the roads impossible to drive on, they realize their weekend of fun could turn into a lifetime of survival.

Because there's something out there besides the cold....

Something sinister....

I don’t know about you, but this book covers everything I love in a book, mystery, thriller, horror, bad weather and some adorable characters! I fell upon this book as an Audible suggestion and as a lover of the book Birdcage and anything Steven King, I was delighted to find there are a couple more in the series! Narrator was great, characters are so deep and interesting! It’s a great find!

Spooky good story. The narration and story is great. It did feel like there was more to tell at the end. Definitely feels like there’s a part 2.

Loved this story

I enjoyed this but it seemed to finish quite abruptly. I’m hoping that this is, or becomes a series

A good listen

Clearly a Stephen King fan. This Novella has a similar style to King and effortlessly gives the reader a glimpse into the ordinary lives of three friends. Who each in their own way has come up against fear and tragedy. A story of the power of fear, trauma and survival.

normal life meets fear incarnate

No ending whatsoever, ridiculous and boring storyline , just as you begin to get interested it stops.

Absolutely failed to impress!
