Christmas 1926: the Forbes family are hosting a celebration at Eden Hall. Eighteen-year-old Daisy is preoccupied by a sense of change. Though gist of the storyline is one previously , penned, the author’s portrayal and depth of understanding of human frailty, forgiveness and Love in its many guises is beautifully interpreted and written. To be recommended.

I have read all her other books and wonder did the author even write The Last Summer...has she even read it?!
