About this listen

Blessed or cursed with a connection to the souls of others, Sloan Jordan can see the best in people...and the worst. With nothing more than a glance at a photograph, she can judge the living from the dead and the good souls from the evil ones. For 27 years she's kept her ability a secret, but 11 young women have been murdered in the mountains of North Carolina, and Sloan may be the only hope of finding their killer. She has just agreed to help Detective Nathan McNamara with the case when a stranger - who is as alluring as he is terrifying - shows up at her doorstep with a dark past and another puzzling mystery: She can't see his soul at all. Now Sloan is on the hunt for a deadly psychopath with two irresistible men. One of them would die for her, and the other would kill to keep her safe.

This book was well written with an interesting story line and great characters. The narration was excellent.

Well, it started quite well, but somehow the further it went the more I disliked the FL who just became more and more self- centred. Or maybe I only started to notice it more as the story was dragging on? Not sure. In any case, everything happening around her had to be about her. It became all me, me, me! I am all for loving oneself, but this went too far. Anywho, I do not care enough for any of the characters to want to know what happens next. Also, is the heroine pro-death sentence or did I misunderstood? This book will not age well...
