This unique and fundamentally liberating book shows us that examining our attitudes toward money - earning it, spending it, and giving it away - can offer surprising insight into our lives, our values, and the essence of prosperity.

Lynne Twist, a global activist and fundraiser, has raised more than $150 million for charitable causes. Through personal stories and practical advice, she demonstrates how we can replace feelings of scarcity, guilt, and burden with experiences of sufficiency, freedom, and purpose. In this Nautilus Award-winning book, Twist shares from her own life, a journey illuminated by remarkable encounters with the richest and poorest, from the famous (Mother Teresa and the Dalai Lama) to the anonymous but unforgettable heroes of everyday life.

Creates a different mindset to money. It talks about having a sufficient amount and doing good with it for our fellow humans.

Thought provoking read, well worth your time! Made me revisit my relationship to money and implement some changes in how I choose to spend it. Also loved the sufficiency approach and Lynn’s experience and knowledge is priceless. Very inspiring! I would have personally preferred the author to have narrated it herself, as i believe it would have been more soulful and enjoyable to listen to. I cannot quite put my finger on it but the narration felt a little robotic and artificial at times, like if it were an AI rendering.

Great book and author gives you the idea to see money as to tool
To use money for a higher purpose other than material wants and gains .

I'm not sure why The author wasn't chosen to narrate this title as she is an excellent speaker. The chosen narrator however over-annunciates each word splitting each syllable so that they often sound like separate words. The result is very robotic and clunky. I found it quite difficult to listen to and was very, very disappointed. I like the content however. But I would have got more out of this book had it been better narrated.

Great book - terrible narration

I would have preferred listening to the author. but the book it's self is amazing stuff. it'd changing my ingrained perceptions of the money culture. I've listened to it twice. and will probably go back again. something I want to live my life by. its given me a paradigm shift.
