The Narrator had a major mare reading this book. It made listening to it comical and properly laugh out loud funny. It sounded like the guy had put too much Bailey's in his coffee, forgotten to get his washing out of the machine, needed a refresher before oh yeah, I'm reading an audiobook. As if the story isn't confusing enough without a drunken, grandpa narrating. But on some level it works. OK it doesn't. I'll go for another reading when I listen to this fabulous story again

Narrator's Nightmare

Not a bad book but unfortunately ruined by very poor presentation. The volume goes up and down mysteriously and sometimes it seems like the narrator has wandered off to the other side of the room whilst still talking. Also his presentation is worse than a typical eight-year-old from primary school. He often gets tangled up with words, has to stop and retrace or say again words he has pronounced wrongly.

I can honestly say that this was the worst narration of any of the 300 books I have read on Audible. Otherwise not a bad story but not really my cup of tea

Dreadful narration!
