About this listen

A sexy he falls first, boy obsessed, sports romance from bestselling author, Lulu Moore

My name is Parker King, and I am in love.

Yet Scout Davison barely knows I exist.

Therefore, I do what any sensible guy does when he’s trying to get a girl’s attention, I ask her out.

Except I’m too late.

Thanks to the job offer on the New York Lions Social media team, Scout’s focus is on work, so while pining for her I focus on making her my friend instead. Friends first, date later.

Or at least I thought.

The more time we spend together though, the harder it becomes for both of us to deny our feelings.

And when a new company policy makes it almost impossible for us to give in, we find ourselves falling for one another.

Now all we need to do is keep our relationship a secret until after the playoffs, and avoid Coach breathing down our necks.

The Strike Zone is a dangerous place to stay, but we’re going out swinging.

Emma and Robert did a wonderful job of bringing Parker and Scout's book to life.

I really enjoyed watching Scout pretend she wasn't as gone for Parker as he was for her. I get it, she had a terrible experience and does not want a repeat. But, from everything I listened to regarding Parker, he seemed like a decent guy.

Despite being turned down for a date, Parker deciding he was going to become Scout's best friend instead was a fantastic move.
Being able to be a helpful friend and support her in any way possible was a huge plus in his column.
However, you could see that the friendship would be short-lived because the chemistry between them was sizzling.
We were gifted with sweetness, protectiveness, some drama and an incident that put everything in perspective and course-corrected the relationship between our two MCs.

I already love this team and their friendships. I'm definitely going to be listening to more!

Audiobook Review:
Narrated by Robert Hatchet & Emma Wilder. Fantastic voices for the 2 characters. They matched them well and characters felt real.
This one was Parkers story and I absolutely loved him! Can a guy be anymore amazing and sweet than Parker?!
Parker has been pining over Scout for a while but he lost his chance when someone else asked her out. Now she is single, he is ready to make his move. For a guy who is cool and funny, he gets all fumbled around her and it's so adorable.
After her last disastrous relationship, Scout is concentrating on her career no more men. Although working with the Tigers, she gets tingly feelings ever time she sees Parker. However she I determined to stay single, even if he is the most caring, funny guy she knows.
I loved how Tanner came up with operation Strike Zone 😂. Have to hand it to him because it worked.
Parker and Scout build a friendship and Parker was so patient and was truly enjoying their friendship. It didn't stop their sizzling chemistry though. The slow burn was delicious.
Now benefits are added to their friendship, but there is a new workplace rule and her new job interview is all meddling with it. When everything blows up, can they still be strong throughout?
Absolutely loved listening to this one. Lulu really writes the best sports romance.

Perfect Parker
