I am not a fan of audio books read by others and not the author themselves. Strange I know considering I got the audio book for this, but that was due to the fact that I needed to keep going with the story of Worth, but I could not read it from a book due to other factors. I listened to the sample audio and found myself hearing Worth explain an incredibly annoying dress, and I found myself sitting back, smiling, and nodding. These two have converted me.

The book itself deserves all the ratings it has on Amazon itself, but I want to give Hollie Jackson a massive standing ovation. It takes a lot to present a character that is as badass as Worth is, while still showing the vulnerable side. Not only do I feel like her voice was a perfect reflection Worth, but every character she had to portray with tone and inflection was an audible treat.

Basically, the combination of the brilliance of K.A. Knight's writing mixed with Hollie Jackson's narration is a combination made in darkness. Perfect darkness. Both of them are _my_ champion.
