A great fantasy debut that paves the way for a new, fresh sword and sorcery series.

I'll admit it, I don't read much fantasy these days. I find most fantasy novels bloated and usually lose interest when I see how long they are.

The Summoner is a great mix of fast paced action, building its world brick by brick for future novels in the series.

Great work, Callum. Looking forward to seeing what comes next!
