Very Addictive

I don't often give bad reviews but the I had really high hopes for this book. The premise of a mystery stemming from someone's dying words made my mind up to give Paige Toon a go. I can't comment on her other books but for me this one just meandered. I kept expecting some big reveal that never came. Even the possibility of an earth shattering confrontation was avoided at the end, a real shame because this book needed some grit. If you're after a 'nice' easy story this is for you. If you want something with a bit of intrigue and interest, avoid.

Disappointed

Classic Paige

There is always a bit of an emotional twist in Paige's books and this one doesn't disappoint. I felt that the slightly abrasive style of the reader is perfect for her character, but my experience of the book mighht have been very different without audio.

A strong story with the right reader

Not one of Paige Toon best books. Really good performance but the story line isn’t all that. In fact Amber the main character comes across very annoying. Glad when it finished!
