Looking forward to this next book but a bit of a let down as I enjoyed the first in the series. Felt this one lacked depth and it seemed to repeat it self on and off. This one didn’t compare. and I thought it was slow

I love Rob Rinder for his personality, experience, intelligence. I enjoyed his first book mostly and eagerly awaited this one's release. But sadly I've got to say it was a bit boring. (My school headmaster won't appreciate me using that word, sorry Mr Towne.) Some places picked up and were good, but I sometimes found my mind wandering when normally books grip me all through. That being said, I'd buy his next one.

Josh Dylan is superb. Some performers manage to get the dialogue but the narration can be boring or sing songy. Josh delivers everything perfectly. Different accents, character voices and interesting narration. I love the story as well. Liked the first and the second is just as good. I look forward to more, Rob Rinder must have so much material to expand on. I hope anyway, it’s such an interesting insight into the world of criminal law.

Love the first in this series so pre ordered the second and while the premise,court proceedings and excellent narration lived up to my expectations, I felt as though the ending was slightly rushed and as if there was something missing. Over all I still thoroughly enjoyed and I am hopeful for a third instalment in this brilliant series.
