primarily I got this because Shane East was narrating and it fit's in the genes I love, early on I wasn't feeling the "sinister voice" or "bad guy voices" it just didn't hit the mark for me but as the book went on that wasn't so significant, (I do also wish this had been duet rather than dual narration as bits felt a little odd in dual). This is a book you really need to check the TW's on as it's dark and shocking from the start, for me it then ebs off before picking up abit before the end, I did enjoy it though,

I was so excited to get back to a Nikki J Summers book and boy did this one live up to my expectations.

Isiah is the ultimate walking read flag but I loved his character. He had been through hell and back as a child and he was all about getting revenge on the ones who had wronged him.

Abigail is such an amazing character. She is resilient and I loved how she accepted Isiah and all of his dark and unhinged ways!!

The narrators were incredible and brought the characters to life in the most amazing way.

i got really disappointed of the act. I did'nt get into it and the actors are "acting" each other, it's a little cringe doing the spicy scenes. I could not finish it.
