My favourite kind of thriller is one that grabs you from the get-go and doesn't let go until the final page. This was one of those books, and I look forward to reading more from C.J. Grayson.

Set in Darlington, a small Northern town where everyone knows everyone. A serial killer keeps Detectives Tanzy and Byrd on their toes. As the bodies pile up, there are clues that the murders are linked. But how? And there is also a young girl missing, and time is running out to find her. It's a twisted storyline that weaves its way along, entertaining as it goes.

I listened to the audiobook. It was fast-paced and kept me thoroughly engaged. The narrator was really good and brought the tension to life.

So many entailed and varied crimes/murders! Well thought out, procedures immaculately translated only a little too gory, but well sorted out. you need to take a breather in the middle to work out some of the clues!!
