Excellent start to the new series with really interesting characters. I got the next 4 books on the strength of this one.

It’s basically an 11 hour narrated comic. If you want a story with flimsy plot depth, super macho soldiers with ridiculous weapons, continuous splattered aliens, etc. etc. with minimal/no explanation, then this book is for you. I’m glad it was a free download otherwise I’d have been annoyed to have wasted money on this rubbish! I’m not getting any of the other books in this series.
