I really love the plot of this series. I enjoy Dianna's morally grey character and the complexity of all the characters who feel very fully realised.
The beginning of this book was superb but the middle seemed malingering with lots of dialogue and inner struggles but nothing else happening. I think perhaps the book needed much more editing! I managed to stick with it and the last 3 hours felt very rushed with lots of confusing action, different character perspectives and little resolution.
Had it not been for the poor pacing I would have given 5 stars

The narrator really brought this story to life, how she did all of the different voices I really do not know! Amber did an amazing job with this book all the character growth and twists and turns were incredible.
