'Heart-rending.' (The Sunday Times)
'It's not hard to see why it has resonated so strongly with so many, why people post it on their Facebook pages, email it to loved ones and talk about it with friends.' (The Sydney Morning Herald)
'Ware writes of the phenomenal clarity of vision that people gain at the end of their lives, and how we might learn from their wisdom.' (The Guardian)

It talks very honestly about the experience of Bronnie working with dying people, her lessons learned and her own transformation in the process of taking care of dying people.
Reading this books let’s you learn from the regrets of others and gives clarity on how to live your life so that regret does not come to you when your time comes by.

As a bible-believing Christian, I had always wondered how non-Christians dealt with the difficulties & extreme pressures of life. Through this book I was able to observe parallels between Christian beliefs & some Eastern ideas expressed. The major difference was her giving thanks or expecting ‘blessings’ from the ‘Universe or Nature’ while Christians do same but to God the creator. Other similarities are, meditation, yoga class (church 😀), journaling, fasting, praying (which is also part of the Christian faith). I like that she wasn’t pushing any of the self-discovery practice in this book, but simply talking about her own personal experience.
All in all, a great read with notes taken. Worth re-listening at least once a year.
Remarkable Self-discovery journey
