I love going into a book blind and being so pleasantly surprised that I can't wait for the next one. This is my first Taylor Hart listen, and will not be my last. Kade is a quarterback that needs to be babysat by PR woman Felicity. When the bachelor auction comes up, Kade uses a little leverage on Felicity to make sure she buys him, keeping him away from particular women. And from that point on, their story builds. Kade is a wonderful personality. He is stubborn, but has a strong sense of family and love, always coming through when he is needed. Felicity is a force to be reckoned with. Her situation is intricate, and times I was frustrated with her aloofness, while at the same time I could sympathize with her. The two together make a couple that shows how love overcomes the obstacles. Weaving in their families, Hart gives the story family dynamics that are easy to relate to and the story depth.

Narrated by Aaron Shedlock, the characters in this story come to life with a sense that you know them. Shedlock has a talent of infusing voices that hold incredible emotion so that you feel the pain, frustration, fear and love right along with each character. It is a listen you will not want to miss.

Kudos to Aaron Shedlock for another great narration! I enjoyed listening to this cute sport romance. Kade and Felicity had lots to overcome but deserved their HEA. 😊

I loved this book! The story is not the typical sports romance that I was expecting. Taylor Hart wrote a heartwarming story that has so many emotions involved. I found it refreshing to listen to a book that the characters had chemistry but not sex. The narration by Aaron Shedlock was perfect. He added to the enjoyment of the book. I loved how he portrayed the characters. Friends to lovers stories are a favorite of mine. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator. This book involves so many layers to it. I loved how the story had humor and heart-wrenching moments. The imagery is incredible. I could relate to many aspects of the story, and the feelings involved.
