As great as the story is, the real high point of this listening experience for me was the otherwise excellent narrator finally - after what, 17 novels or something - learning how to pronounce "short-lived". 😀

Well he finally said short lived right! Instead of lie-ved that was so weird. The story was great and the performance perfect.

I tried to get in to the extended cliché of a story but it beat me, I just couldn’t find where the story line was hidden in the gratuitous violence.
