Fantastic to have a collection with everyone from Woolf to Joyce, Orwell to Fitzgerald, and much more, all in one. Great performances from all the narrators and the index makes it easy to find the books. Great collection.

I knew I’d never actually read all these worthy books. Some, I did know and enjoyed. Some new ones were good. But some of these are so dull, or weird, or plain depressing. Which makes me think I’m too fond of feel-good literature to be smart enough to appreciate some of this tedium! All well read.

Grim in parts … but good for you
