Having previously read the Power of Consistency also by Weldon Long (and another must read!) I decided to read more of his back story. Told with honesty at each section of his life as his self awareness grew, Weldon takes you on a journey with him through his life and how he finally recognised his self sabotaging behaviour. He didnt leave it there though he embodied everything he was reading and dared to believe things could get better, in spite of his circumstances. I could say so much more but you will have to read the book to find out the rest. Heartbreaking in parts, above all inspiring. If Weldon can keep believing in his dreams with everything he was up against, we all can.

This had me enthralled from the moment I started listening to it. Having read Weldon’s book “the power of consistency” I was interested to know the more detailed back story, and this doesn’t disappoint!

Well worth listening to, the narration is excellent and the lessons you learn from Weldon’s story are very motivating. It provides an honest insight into the life of a man who was on the edge of losing everything and who managed to think his way out of that life to forge a new existence.

I couldn’t put this down and throughly recommend it.
