Eve Ensler's stories are funny, moving, sad and sometimes thoroughly shocking - not for the frank and open discussion on vaginas but for revealing that such a massive part of women's - and men's - lives is largely taboo. Highly recommended.

Loved the book overall, deals with the subject clearly and with no hesitation, which is refreshing.

However, I didn't really enjoy the narration. I thought it was really unnatural and forced pretty much the whole time.

This was so NOT what I was hoping for. Having heard good reviews from people I know and from news paper reviews about the road show I was looking forward to listening to this original version of the Vagina Monologues. I almost stopped listening after the first 5 minutes but plodded on in the hopes I would warn to the reading. But in the end the book was playing but I was not listening. Whilst it has many relevant facts and information it was still not my cup of tea.
