About this listen

An ancient ally. An immortal enemy. The rise of a mad god.

This Broken World (Book 4)

An ocean of darkness lives within the pages of a long-forgotten journal. The arrogant god Ezekiel threatens the future of all as he calls forth ancient creatures from the Abyss.

The world's only hope lies in a fraying alliance between the werewolves, the undead, and a necromancer who has outlived them all. Unfortunately, their small company isn't the only one marching toward the killing fields.

As enemies close in from all sides, Damian and his misfits are all that can keep the looming darkness at bay.

Destroyer Rising (Book 5)

A child lost. A destiny sealed. A necromancer unleashed.

It's been three years since Damian failed Vicky. Three years she's clung to existence as something not quite alive, but far from dead. While the path before her darkens, Vicky battles to spread light and hope through a tortured world.

But now the Destroyer has come to claim her ... and Damian can't fail her again.

Aided by his closest allies, he journeys into a realm of fire and death. There, the dead sail upon a ship of bone, and demons stalk their every move. Knowing Vicky's fate lies in the Burning Lands, Damian must face the flames of war for a chance to save the little girl lost, or risk the end of all things.

Rattle the Bones (Book 6)

An ancient horde. An enemy freed. A harbinger emerges.

Much has been lost in the conflict with the Fae king and his allies. The most painful being the death of one of their own at the Mad King's hand. A great Seal between realms may have been rebuilt, but vampires touched by darkness are slipping through the cracks.

Damian's allies are many, but his enemies are terrible. Now the necromancer must prevent an attack unlike any the world has ever seen. Suddenly, the vampire god Camazotz is the least of his worries.

A very well narrated series which is brilliantly written. Great characters which feel real and well explored and you really connect with them. It's packed full of story with both humour and action aplenty. It's a roller coaster of a ride and one that you don't want to end. Brilliant from start to finish! Certainly a series to get and an author and narrator to keep an eye on.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

These 3 books had me absolutely mesmerised and engrossed throughout the whole boxset.
The writing is excellent with well defined and developed characters. There are so many you cannot fail to form some form of bond with one of them. The story is excellent giving you all the information and background you need from the first 3 to fully enjoy and understand what is going on in these 3 books.

It bounces along at a fantastic pace moving themes with ease and a thoroughly organic feel. I couldn't put this series down and want to read more. I especially love the interplay of characters and the humorous back stories of certain characters.

The narration is top shelf offering fantastic variety of voices and the breadth of accents is great. The narrator captures the essence of a character giving them life.

In summation I would recommend this series whole heartedly if you love fantasy, adventure or just a great story. It can easily appeal to all audiences as the story deals with a lot of topics amazingly gracefully.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily provided this impartial review.

Paranormal stories involving a necromancer that faces insurmountable odds. Vesik is nerdy and sarcastic along with impressive physical and magical fighting skills. This three book set picks up where the series left off. The listener is given a non-stop paranormal adventure and mystery! The characters are awesome and the storyline is quite entertaining. The narrator did a great job! I received a free copy of this audiobook and have voluntarily left this review.

Entertaining
