characters really come to life in this dramatic story... wasn't sure how they would keep the story going.. but they did and kept me gripped to the end :-)

really enjoyed this book.... I'm a novice reader!

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I don't think the hatred of the two wives for each other was convincing.

What was most disappointing about Tamar Cohen’s story?

The back story of the two women did not have much detail. Then right at the end it seemed rushed to bring it to a conclusion. The ending was like a soap opera.

What aspect of Julia Franklin and Penelope Rawlins ’s performance might you have changed?

I thought her narration was good and it was easy to,distinguish characters. I would not change anything about the narration.

If this book were a film would you go see it?

No

A weak story which only came to life at the end

This starts off pretty well and initially I was drawn into the lives of the two wives and their families. The two narrators do an excellent job and the way the narration moves between the two families keeps the plot moving and kept me interested. However, by about half way through I lost interest, the plot and characters become stereotypical and I realised that I cared little for any of them.

Disappointing

The performances by the narrators were all that made me stick with it.
I did not like any of the characters and the story was very far fetched!

By the end I really didn't care...
