A book that has taken more than 25 years to arrive. The definitive story of the man who held an eight-year reign of terror over the town of Middlesbrough.

Containing many firsthand and previously unheard accounts from some of Duffy’s closest friends and associates, this book will finally confirm who the man was and what he was really all about.

No stone will be left unturned, and this book will not shy away from controversy but will aim to provide an unbiased and balanced view on the "Boro" icon.

Make no mistake, this will be the definitive book on Lee Duffy. There will be no more "ifs", "ands", or "buts" after its release.

From the author of the best-selling Paul Sykes books Unfinished Agony and Further Agony Jamie Boyle.

loved the way it was written and not one sided at all, very sad ending but unfortunately as we hear so often "live by the sword die by the sword "

I hope the message in the end everyone that reads/listens to this book recieves is that crime truly does not pay!

You get the point after a few chapters, Lee duffy massive bully, loved a scrap, got himself stabbed n died for being a sh*thouse. Can tell a lot of work went into this book but its the same old story right the way thru to be honest. Also Lee duffy sounded like a horrible human being, rotten to the core - anyone who can claims he wasnt is just a fan boy... nobody who goes about beating folk up for fun is a decent person. Deserved all he got in the end right down to taxi drivers not wanting to pick him up when he was dying because of who he was.

A bit repetitive

I drive 45 mins to work as I work in Hexham and this has been a great story to listen to on the way to work and home. Really interesting read. To all the people who lost Lee, my deepest sympathy to you all, as I know by listening, the loss is still very raw for them all.

Great story

I thought this book was put together very well, highlighting both the good and the not so great aspects of Lees life. They say that there wont ever be another like Lee and listening to these accounts I truly believe that. His confidence, strength and temper put fear in me 30 odd years on. I cant imagine what It would have been like to know him, see him or be a mate of his. To knock out bouncers who are fighting men themselves on his own is a feat few if any can match and he did it weekly if not daily. I hold no judgment over Lees choices but I do wish that he was still around because I do think he would be now a strong advocate against violence like his mate Brian Cockerill. RIP Lee.
