A fun return to the Immortals After Dark world. The narration was as excellent as always.

Why am I not surprised that this is so good?

I just finished reading the latest novella from my all-time favorite author, and I must say that it was another perfect book. The novella, titled "TWQOH," revolves around two characters: Rök, a demon, and Poppy, a witch. Despite being drawn to each other for years, they are forced to spend time together in a haunted mansion where Poppy's magic starts to manifest itself in the form of Halloween creatures like ghouls, skeletons, evil dolls, and even the headless horseman.

What I loved the most about this novella is how entertaining it is. Once the two characters are trapped in the mansion, the story takes off with non-stop action and excitement. They must work together to find a way to survive and escape while also breaking Poppy's curse. It's not an easy task, especially since Rök is trying to convince Poppy that they are fated mates meant to be together.

As a fan of the series, I always look forward to being transported back to the IAD (Immortals After Dark) world, and this novella did not disappoint. The story is filled with small hints about what's to come in the series, which only adds to the anticipation for the next installment.

Overall, whether you're a fan of the series or new to it, I highly recommend reading this novella. It's a must-read that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. The characters are well-developed, the plot is engaging, and the action will keep you hooked until the very end.

The only criticism I wish it was longer I love her writing.

It has been a long wait but this book was truly worth it.
As the next instalment of the Immortals after dark series this audible book performance was a real treat and amazing - I could not stop laughing in certain sections what a great story.
Thank you for an excellent read book.
